Astronomy
Instructor: Professor Constance Barrington Office Hours: Drop by anytime, before or after class, or make an appointment. Location of Office: In the Tower (Though post in the Astronomy Board) Course Description: This is a course that's available to all years interested in Astronomy. Students may learn the names of stars, constellations and planets, as well as their location and movements, and describing the environments of planets and moons.
Course Requirements: There are no educational requirements other than a high reading level and an open mind. You will be required to read some works, but the material will be provided to you every class period.
Grading Policy: The course is divided into 4 lessons. At the end of each lesson an assignment might be given. Course material will be provided. At the beginning of each lesson assignments are due. There are points for attendance, assignments such as essays on observations, class participation, quizzes, and exams.
