bokeh dark & bokeh light, both of these are similar to our older skin. i think since this has two versions it could be both feminine and gender neutral?
if that is what you guys prefer. of course there are others. xD

veggie garden, is much different and bit more complicated with coding. but pretty fun. :3 a bit more gender neutral.

seasons of love, very similar to our old version but it can be considered very feminine.

Hey so I've been stalking this thread for like...a really long time and I just didn't have any input until now since i don't know anything about this new coding and didn't even bother to since i was getting used to the idea of jcink but i would love to help out whenever i can? it's hard to stay away from a site i was on forever.

so i looked through the adoxography site since i didn't feel like creating accounts on all those sites since i'd most likely forget usernames, passwords, etc.

i found one star which is a lighter skin and has a somewhat similar layout i suppose. i think it's somewhat neutral and not so bad on the eyes.

i also think that take it back is a really nice layout and color too! seasons of love it like the perfect layout in my opinion, but that pink is like BAM out there so if we could change the colors it could work?

aaaand that's my input and i'll try to log in more since all i've got going on is work atm

xD I have an account on both Gangnam Style and Wicked Wonderland, so that won't be an issue. And I really like One Star as well as Take It Back. Though I think I prefer how everything is on top with One Star. e w e

And as for Seasons of Love, you can change the colors, for sure. The creator doesn't mind. So that works too. :3

I also found Operation: Mindcrime, which is a darker skin. But it isn't as bright and stuff. Also this one has a custom mini-profile.

Some of the other ones do as well. I just would have to go through all of them to see which ones do.

Those are some freaking amazing skins for sure, all of them.

OneStar I like a lot. Maybe with small changes we could make it look more like something that would fit Beauxbatons. Maybe a different background? Though one that's about the same color of course. But maybe a bit more magical? Or school like... What do you guys think?

Operation Mindcrime is hella amazing! The colors would need to be changed though, I think. But otherwise it's really cool ;)

Other stuff that needs to be done... well, probably clean the boards. I can do that. And sending a mass PM to all the members about getting back? And about deleting those accounts that have not been active? Cleaning a bit... Though I'd feel terrible deleting members that have been here for a really long time, but just haven't been on in awhile... But who have tendency to come back. I think those should be automatically saved? Would that be unfair?

What other stuff do you guys think that needs to be done?

Hey, I support the idea of premade skins, since they take a lot of time and effort to make.
Those are wonderful! Broken dark and Broken light are my <3
Firstly, cleaning the boards, but that would mean to leave them completely empty, since most of the topics are old
As for the old members, I deleted them once and felt awful. Maybe we should wait a week or two after we send the mass PM to see who's coming back and who's not.

Yeah, the boards would be pretty empty... But also if people see how some threads have been posted in 2013... I think that will make them not to want to join. A good clean would give a fresh start.

And yes, I definitely agree that we should give a week or two time for them to come up, at least take a peek (: I can only imagine how awful that must have felt... >< I know I'd feel bad too. So many old members here... I guess we can at least delete that type of accounts which names aren't right.

you can definitely change the skin colors, i'm on another site that uses this skin and they changed the yellow to lavender. x3 and a poll would be nice, not to mention cleaner.

maybe we should clean up the site and get the skin made before we send out the mass pm though? :3

it might be unfair however, well, i don't know. e w e maybe keeping the ones you know who will definitely come back wouldn't be so bad? i feel conflicted about it. but if you know for sure, i think it isn't sooooo bad. x w x

i agree! depending on when we finish everything, perhaps a back-to-school sort of festival event? o w o or perhaps a new shop?

another idea, if possible, why not make matching templates to the skin for the rules and stuff? :3 it would make stuff very uniform and nice to look at.

Those skins you guys found are amazing!

In terms of clean up, I already did what I could, but that was a couple of months ago now. A fresh start is better than trying to salvage what may end up never being used. Matching templates is a fantastic idea! And they would also mean not all of the boards are entirely empty.

I think an event would be a fantastic idea as well. It would hopefully draw in those definitely interested in coming back to the site.

I definitely agree Morrigan, a fresh start would be the best option. If you guys want any of your threads saved you can just link them here or send them via pm. But of course they can later be brought back too from the archives.

Back to school event can be one option. What about some kind of magical event? Can we come up with something special?

an event sounds like a lot of fun, especially the festival idea. if none of us aren't really that great with coding, we can always find pre-made templates or request someone on one of the resource sites to make one?

It would definitely be difficult to get people in with super old threads lying around because there's every chance that's the only bit they'd see.

Magical and special. I would say some kind of tournament or something, but they never end well for people ;) Maybe a festival of some kind? With games? I'm talking like fair games, like the strength test of hitting the button with the big hammer and ringing the bell? That sort of thing? I'd happily work something through with someone for that when the time comes?

Matching templates would definitely come easier once the skins are picked. It would need to be something that would fit on all skins. If it's just one skin that gets the top vote at the end of the day it would make it easy, but I know folks like to swap skins and such!

I think we should start with the clean up, soon after followed by the skins and templates, then get the mass PM sent... Although, if we want folks to input on the skins may need to PM sooner... IDK ><

about the festival, maybe some people from each house can have booths and host games and the likes? we should definitely try to cleanup around the site while we're picking skins.
