It's Valentine's Day! and Alegra had almost forgotten. She was in the middle of putting on a shirt when it dawned on her. Conveniently, today was the day she had double spare. She had been carefully planning throughout the week, and most of the decorations were in the room already. Along with the tables, curtains, cups, and various other things her friends had brought too. She had a lot of help, and she couldn't be sure of everything that was going to happen. The party was quite glamorous for a Valentine's Day party; it could be mistaken for a prom. The plan was to have one long table, a dance floor, and small stage, which is most likely to end up being useless. Never know, though. It would at least be a pretty little display. Alegra had her dress draped over her arm and a load of things from a couple shops like the Sweet Jokes. She even had a piece of parchment stuffed in her pocket with the recipe for a popular drink from "Couru en Liberte"; she couldn't remember the name of it. Most of the food and drinks were coming from the house elves, who should be showing up to the room with everything soon. She couldn't really remember who had asked them, but she certainly hasn't. It had slipped her mind to ask them.
She finally entered the Room of Requirement with a heavy sigh, taken aback from the change in the room of requirement. A few people were in the room already, hanging drapes and setting the table, which were three tables placed side by side. They had to charm the white tablecloth, make it longer. It took them a little longer than it should have to figure it out, but thankfully someone had remembered the spell. The drapes had really made a difference, too. While the room looked smaller, it looked more Valentine's Day-y. She grinned at everybody, and waved her wand to send the lights up into the air. The lights were actually paper lanterns of pink, red, and white, and fit with the elegance of the room rather nicely. She had to ask a professor how to get them up in the air and keep them there, and one had been kind enough to teach her. That was one of the many errands she had to run today, but luckily she had run into said professor on the way to the boutiques. Alegra's cheeks were still pink from the cold outside, but she was starting the warm up already with the brisk pace she's been walking with all day. Alegra had herself do most of the leg work; she didn't want to ask anyone else to do it. She put down a music box on the stage and said absently "One of you guys can play a song, if you want" to no one in particular as she hurried off behind one of the drapes to change. "Play whatever you like!"She was one of the few who wasn't wearing her party dress yet, because who would want to run around the boutiques with a short dress? The weather was still extremely cold. She hoped it wouldn't be this cold come Easter. She was very excited for that little holiday too. She finally got her dress on and left her other clothes in a neat little pile behind the curtain and out of site. The area behind the drapes were actually quite spacious, she actually wondered how many kids would be sneaking off behind them. She came back out with a smile, and couldn't quite help herself. "Hey Nyu Ri," she called, walking up to her friend. "No sneaking off with boys behind the curtain, alright?" and she chuckled, leaning on the table and crossing her arms over her stomach. "Ahh, guys, the room likes great."

This was the day she had been waiting for; Valentine’s Day. Not because she was dating. Not because she was expecting to have some romancing go on. It was because her friends were hosting a party and she was also helping out as well. She hadn’t really planned parties before which was probably the reason why she was excited about this one. Although red and pink were usually the colors of Valentine’s Day, Nyu Ri’s dress was black, because she had no pink nor red dresses in her closet. Well, not ones that would be suitable for the party anyway. She really needed to go shopping more often. Or rather she needed to buy more cute clothes more often.
"No sneaking off with boys behind the curtain, alright?"
The familiar voice woke her up from her thoughts as she turned to look at her friend, her eyebrows arching slightly at her words. “Who do you take me for?” She acted innocent as if she hadn’t even thought such things. Oh boy. Alegra was right though. She needed to keep her succubus desires in control. Play it nice. She was a host after all!
“Truly it does! Mostly thanks to you.” Nyu Ri smiled to her before turning to look around, leaning against the table as well. Everyone had done great work and for sure the party would be a b-l-a-s-t! That she was sure of. They got decorations, food, drinks, music, and most importantly, people. What else would you need? Well there were always party-poopers, but she would for sure chase all those away, because this really was important to her. Although she had lived awhile now and had gone to many parties, she never had helped planning one herself before, like said before.
The sournois female turned to look at Alegra once again, admiring her from head to toe with a smirk upon her lips. “You look stunning! I love your dress. Wish I had something like that in my closet too. Maybe I’ll go off on a shopping-spree tomorrow.” Absentmindedly she turned to look up at the ceiling, her fingers dancing on the table lightly, and she felt content with everything so far. Everything would go well, right? Nyu Ri was one of those who was always able to keep her pokerface (except when she had to lie about not breaking something or if she tried not to laugh), especially when she was worried. She was a real worry-wart, but was able to act cool and calm; knowing that panicking would not help anyway.

From somewhere Hyo Joon had once read a quote by Mother Theresa that said “the hunger for love is much more difficult to remove than the hunger for bread” which in his case was surprisingly true. He loved food more than almost anything (most people knew this), but still there were lost loved ones that he ached to meet once again more than he craved eating a big pizza or some French fries. ‘Love’ didn’t necessary mean the kind where you have a partner, a wife or a husband. In his case it meant a family member, but as well as a long lost love. Two lost loves.
With a thoughtful look upon his face he looked down at a ring that he had gotten from his grandmother, which he was now holding in his hands while sitting on the edge of his bed in the Cossu dorm. It was her wedding ring, but because his grandfather had gone to heaven long time ago and because he was in an age to be interested in women she had given it to him. If only she knew how long he had been interested in women she would have had to give the ring much earlier. Well, of course he knew what she really meant. For the company’s sake he was supposed to find someone to marry sooner or later. At the moment he was engaged to Annabelle, because of their parents, but a year ago when he had first gotten the ring he had planned to give it to someone entirely else whom he had loved very dearly. Too bad it hadn’t worked out exactly the way he had hoped. After a lot of drama and indecisiveness she had decided that they needed to take a break. It’s been a year now. Another lost love? That was a long story as well. It was someone whom he believed was captured by aliens.
But the third one whom he loved, wished to meet again, but was a family member? It was his grandfather. His father’s father. Both of his mother’s parents were unfortunately still alive. It was true that his grandfather had been extremely hardworking and had barely been at home, because he wanted the company to become something great, but he still had loved his family very dearly and although he seemed very strict he was actually very kind and sweet. His grandmother often described him as ‘cute’ and said that Hyo Joon had taken after him. ‘Thank Goodness for that’ he had thought the first time he had heard it, because he certainly didn’t want to be like his mother. Nor like his dad. He loved them both dearly, but his mother was way too straightforward at times and was like a tyrant at times while his father was strict, but under the control of his wife. So yes, he rather be hardworking, cute, kind, sweet and at times strict.
It was probably far too early leave, but Hyo Joon had decided he needed to go before he started to mope like an emo teenage. He placed the ring safely into his drawer, got up and turned to look at the young man wearing a white blouse with black velvet vest and black pants from the mirror. He checked the dark tie he was wearing was straight before taking a few steps backwards and finally changing his direction, heading to the door.
Before he noticed he had found himself in front of the room of requirement’s door (apparently he had even made the door appear before he had realized it) and so he placed his hand upon the knob, ready to turn it and step inside. His eyes widened for a second after he saw all the decorations in the room; it looked amazing! “My God Alegra. It all looks brilliant!” He only had her eyes on her, ignoring the succubus like she was made of thin air. “Mmm, and I see the yummies!” He added and walked over the table filled with heart shaped cupcakes, chocolates, butterbeer, cakes and whatnot. “I could try them. You know, test taste. I wouldn’t want anyone to get poisoned and you never know if someone would try to do something like that.” Hyo Joon didn’t imply to anyone special, though he did glance at Nyu Ri; he didn’t mean that she would have poisoned them, but after seeing death eaters near Beauxbatons he couldn’t help but to wonder. Eh, well, he didn’t think the food was poisoned. Of course not. It was just an excuse to get to try all the goodies that had been placed on the table. “Uh, and I apologize if I’m bit too early.” He returned to look at Alegra once again, “I couldn’t stop myself.” He smiled excitedly, being his usual self.

Jae Syun was in the corner of the room, his wand held over his head. He had quite a bit of trouble with this whole hanging drapes thing. Someone did end up giving him a hand though, and he was finally getting a hang of it. There were only two drapes left to be hung, really, and they were already up in the air, the heavy pale cloth brushing along his feet as he lifted it right up to the ceiling. He was murmuring the spell under his breath, a little uninterested in bringing attention to himself right this moment because Nyu Ri was right in the other side of the room and he wasn't totally confident in what he was doing. He didn't like being criticized, so he was speaking gently. If he made a mistake, he could try again and no one would know. That was his logic, anyway, and then the curtain fell right on top of him.
Oh hell.
He had heard her speaking, had that distracted him? She was telling Alegra how nice she looked, and he was thinking that she looked nice too. With the weight of the drapes, he had fallen back onto his bottom and back onto his elbows. He had no idea what was going on in the rest of the room and wasn't totally sure what was going on. Was there laughing? Was anyone particularly worried? Eh, he'll find out when he gets out of this. It took a little longer than it should have to pull his thoughts back together, cause he would never have guessed he'd get knocked down - not at the Valentines party.
He started scrambling to get out of that mess and came out with a grin on his face, however sheepish. "I'm okay, thanks for asking." He said in jest, his hair more dishevelled than before. Then all at once, he realized his hyueng was there, his glasses were gone, and his wand wasn't in his hand. He squinted at Joonie for second, and ran his hand through his dark hair and added, "Oh Hi-yeom" and turned with a smile, lifting the drapes and folding it over on itself trying to find his things. "Would anyone give me a hand? I lost my glasses and I can't summon it without my wand..." [/blockquote]

Valentines Day. The one day besides Christmas and New Years she was least looking forwards to. It was one of those days when you had to have a date otherwise you'd have looked like you were singled out. At this time of the year being single was so... well, it was a snoozefest, that's for sure. Heck, she was even quite sure her half brother, Drystan had someone. Not that she ever spoke to him, and vice versa, so she wasn't quite sure who or what he was dating. Surely though if it wasn't an inanimate object - which she was sure it was - they weren't in their right minds. No one in their right mind would date a maniac like him... And as she thought that she glanced down to her arm where several scars that were once deep slashes were visible, and then sighed. Then abruptly she shook her head, dark brown locks falling in waves down her back as she scowled. It was Valentines Day. Today she was not supposed to be moping and she was supposed to be having a good time. Maybe this event would mark the actual start of the new year, and a new her - that is if her brother didn't come and ruin that vow, as he usually did.
Trying to put all negative thoughts out of her mind, she caught sight of the clock by the side of her bed. She was late. Damn! She was also supposed to help with the decorations and stuff too, which didn't bode well at this particular moment in time. Was there any point in her going now? Well, she was all dressed for the occasion, so maybe a tiny bit of tardiness could have been excused on her behalf? No, she didn't think so. Quickly rushing to the mirror, she smoothed down her dress and made sure her glamour was in place. Brown hair. Check. Brown eyes. Check. Pale skin instead of midnight black. Check, check, check! Nothing looked out of the ordinary for her now so she was all good to go. Maeve turned, and as she did so cast herself a quick reassuring smile in the mirror before... stampeding off as fast as her high heels could carry her. Not as quick as smaller heels but she was bound to get somewhere eventually.
Not much longer later, she arrived outside the room of requirement, slightly out of breath but fortunally not as much as someone running a marathon. She took a gulp of air, flicking back her hair so it was behind her as she walked in. And was almost bowled over by the amount of pinkness that hit her. "Oh... my..." she started, sounding slightly flustered although a faint smile was appearing on her lips. After the initial shock - you can just tell from her reaction she hadn't been to many parties at all let alone a valentines day one - she glanced around and nodded, before turning to look at Alegra and Nyu Ri. "You two did a great job! I'm sorry I wasn't here to help." Maeve sounded apologetic as she spoke, casting her eyes down every now and again before looking quickly up again. "Oh, but wait, I just remembered something. Didn't someone mention a pinata? Who's going to be bringing that?" Yes, out of all things that was the only thing she actually remembered. Who was going to bring it though was the most mysterious issue to think of at the moment though. She wasn't sure how many people were helping with the party or even attending, but she hoped that the person would show up on time and that this event would be a huge success. (It's lame! I know! I do not know the meaning of girl power ><; at least when roleplaying is concerned XD)[/blockquote]

Valentine’s Day. Wow. The last time this young man had celebrated Valentine’s Day was a couple of years ago. Back then he had gone to the carnival with Penelope, the carnival that almost everyone from Beauxbatons had gone. Valentine’s Day carnival. It had been an extremely fun day to spend with his best friend, although it hadn’t been the warmest day. He remembered so well the day when he and Penelope had gone to the different machines and rides, not to mention when they took a break from all of it, sat down and carved Calcifer’s and Roy’s names on the table. The thought made him faintly smile, though he wasn’t quite sure if it was more of a sad smile or a happy one. Come on, let’s go already. Hurry up. And stop all that nostalgic crap. I’m going to throw up otherwise which means that you would be the one doing the throwing up. The spirit hastened him in an annoyed tone. “I’m not sure if I should be going after all. I mean… There will be blind dates and what not. I’m not in the mood for-“ Oh, come on! You’re being a coward as usual. It’s been ages since you last dated someone. Forget Mustang and move on. Go after women! You know, females. Those beautiful creatures with breasts, rather with big ones, although nothing wrong with small ones. And with- “Shush! Don’t say a word!” It was Yuki’s turn to interrupt his twin in an annoyed tone with a frown. Geez, you’re even scared of a word. That’s just lame. Doesn’t it hurt your pride? “Stop it. Don’t make things up. I’ve dated women too.” You’ve dated a woman. Anouk. “And I’ve dated a man. Roy. See, it’s even.” True. So, woman, man… next will be woman, right? The Asian closed his eyes and scratched his forehead while counting to ten; he needed to just ignore his brother and keep calm. Then it would all be good.
Yuki had decided to not to wear anything too formal to which Yuji had agreed too, though they had had some arguing over the color. The Asian had always preferred white colored suits and other clothes as well, at least not black unless it was necessary. Nothing wrong with black, but he wanted the colors to vary, so that he didn’t always look the same. Yuji instead preferred black over to any color. Black, black, black, everything had to be black. “I’m the one going to the party, so it’s going to be me who decides. Subject finished.” He firmly said while observing himself from the mirror and feeling content about the decision he had made. White suit, black tie, diamond patterned cotton vest and black leather shoes. Perfect. Congratulations! You look even more gay than you normally do! “Thanks. I am feeling rather happy.” Yuki grinned slightly, though Yuji gave a loud fake laugh at that until suddenly stopping and being all serious. You’re also as bad with jokes as always. Seriously, wear black vest or something. Take your clothes off. “I look normal! You’re totally overacting. Stop it. I’m not wearing black, especially because you keep whining about it. It makes me not want to change my clothes even more.” Now he really was starting to feel rather indignant and he wondered if he should start counting to ten once again. He decided against it as he noticed how much the time already was which why he rushed out of the dorm and the common room, hoping he wouldn’t be too late from the party.
Um, Yuki… Not now Yuji. I’m not listening to you anymore for the rest of the night. To this the spirit snorted before replying calmly, Fine. Just thought you should know that the clock on the wall in the dorm is over thirty minutes ahead, so you shouldn’t sweat it. The young Rouerie stopped right at that moment, blinked a few times before asking why in earth was it ahead of time that much. The clocks in Beauxbatons obviously didn’t work on batteries, so that couldn’t be the reason. Well… I might have something to do with it. You know how you’re always late from classes in the morning. I thought I’d tamper with the clock a bit, so maybe for once you’d be on time. Once again Yuki frowned after hearing his brother’s response before starting to walk towards the room of requirement again, this time for calmly. And it’s usually your fault that I’m late, not mine. So don’t make it sound like you did a favor for me.
After walking pass the wall a few times while thinking about the Valentine’s Day party, a door appeared on the wall which he calmly opened and stepped in, looking around for a bit before closing the door after him. There weren’t that much people yet which meant that he wasn’t late at least. For a moment he pondered whether to go over to Alegra, but he decided against it, seeing that she was already surrounded by a few. Meanwhile he would make himself busy by drinking a warm cup of butterbeer. He had time to wait. Perhaps it would be better if he wasn’t much noticed, so he wouldn’t have to find out whether he was going to get a blind date or not. Why had he even agreed to that in the first place? Suddenly he wished that Penelope would be there, so he would have at least someone to cling to and hide behind to.

Valentines Day. And a party was supposed to be held in the Room of Requirement. Truth be told, Drystan was actually rather looking forward to it. Excitement was building up in him as he was watching himself lazily comb his hair in the mirror, his eyes narrowed in a cruel expression that would have sent the average student backing away the moment he turned that look on them. But why exactly was he looking forward to going? It was such a trivial thing, going to a tiny party filled with humans and other inadequate breeds of similar sorts. Perhaps he shouldn't have been bothered about it, although sleeping in on Valentines Day seemed faintly promising. After all, he did spend most of his nights prowling the corridors looking for vulnerable people to pray on, he barely even had enough time to take a nap nowadays. Ah, but no, he promised that he would attend, and attend he would. He was supposed to bring the pinata - the high point of the party, he had no qualms about deciding. He told Alegra he'd bring it. No, in fact he insisted. Maybe this day wouldn't be such a bad one to live through after all.
Walking out of the bathroom he stopped and looked down. At his feet sat a massive red loveheart, the sight of which brought a slight smirk to his lips. "It's show time..." he mumbled as he bent down to pick it up and then stood there with a thoughtful look on his face. "Or on second thoughts, I have a better idea." And with that he placed it back on the floor, careful not to put it down too hard or damage it in any way, then turned tail - figuratively speaking - and strolled out of the dorm and common room. Indeed he did have a better idea than just dragging it through half the school, wouldn't have to strain a muscle either. His autumn three coloured iris's flashed a bright orange as he walked down the winding corridors towards his destination, brown hair with orange streaks running through it calmly sat upon his head, as if he was simply standing still instead of hurriedly walking. Although when he did walk it was similar to the stroll of a predator, although the fact was that he was one. He was a kitsune after all. And before he knew it he was just right outside the door. Didn't take all that long at all, and he didn't even come across anyone in passing, which was a shame as he felt like some easy sport before the main event. "Ah well, we can't have everything I suppose..." In one swift swoop he snatched the doorhandle and then flung it open before strolling in. "Ohayo, minna-saaaan!" he said loudly, although it was a mixture of loudness and softness, if the combination was possible. "...or if if isn't morning then my mistake. I tend to get my barings wrong as far as night and day goes in these troubled times."Drystan's eyes flicked over to where Maeve was. "I couldn't help but over hear you, dearest sister but I believe it was I who was supposed to bring the pinata, and here it is." Without even bothering to draw his wand, he flicked his arm to the side and with a small 'pop' noise, the object in question appeared. "I believe this is what you requested, Lady Alegra," he stated as he turned to the Rouerie girl and smirked. Out of everyone he noticed to be in the room, he liked and admired - if that was possible - her the most. Although there was one other who caught his attention too. Drystan's gaze flicked towards where one Hyo Joon was and his smirk grew bigger. Slowly he licked his lips, not caring who noticed the gesture. Now this was where things were bound to get interesting.[/blockquote]

you had me at hello ♥ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - dress The red head wasn't all too excited to be going to this party, but there was that chance he'd be there. And I suppose you could say it was the only reason she was going. For that little chance he might be there. Through the thoughts, debating, she finally scooped her dress off the floor and pulled it on. It balanced out her figure, almost like a corset, yet it didn't choke her. Quietly, trying not to wake the dog, she tiptoed out the door after applying her eye makeup and throwing on an overcoat with her new pair of flats that she had her cousin send over. They didn't go well with the dress, but beggars can't be choosers, correct? A small sigh as she moved out the door, pulling the black overcoat tight to her chest, and moving down the hall with a light foot and breath as quiet as the dead. Her heart skipped a few beats about how she'd be when getting to the party, if he was there or not. She wasn't sure. They hadn't talked in quite some time; a bit disappointing, if you asked her. Aphrodite passed by some girls gathered in the hall that seemed to be readying (or finishing up) for the party. She wasn't sure how many people would be there, so you could say she was a bit nervous. So many people would be there, able to look at her.
In no time, she was inside. Looking upon the beautifully decorated room, a fancy sight it you asked her. There also were quite a few people gathered, a few she recognized and a few she wasn't familiar with. Green orbs landed on Nyu Ri, whom wore a flashy black dress that showed off her figure, as well. The red head didn't speak two words to the girl her entire time here, but she knew the name. Not too well, either. Curiously, she stepped towards the group of people, before noting Alegra's presence and smiling towards her. "You look wonderful, Alegra," she commented, trying to make small conversation in such an awkward one. (For her it was quite awkward, maybe not for them since they all seemed friendly with one another.) But for her, she was a fish out of water. Her eyes turned away towards the boys, and another boy she was familiar with, Drystan, stood goggling at the girl who'd set this party up. To Aphrodite, he was taken by a cousin, there bickering and uneasy ways with one another was a sure tell sign how they felt. But Drystan wasn't a force to be reckoned with, an evil soul. One who wasn't to be trusted.. in her eyes, of course.
She was in hopes Marionette would show, as well, so maybe she wouldn't be all too alone if Henri didn't come. And by the looks of it, since she was a little late to begin with, he probably wouldn't. Oh well, a valiant effort.
she thought with a smile to herself. Shifty eyes looked towards the drinks, and dainty feet stepped forth and she reached out to grab a glass, pulling to the edge of the table and taking a nervous sip. Actually, now that she thought about it, she was fully aware that Nettie would be showing up eventually, she'd stated it perfectly clear, she wanted to be there. In a fright, she looked towards where the entrance was and patiently stared a moment, before turning her eyes to the glass in her hand, finally able to focus on it. It tasted wonderful, very sweet. At that, she walked off to the table and took a seat at the very end, away from everyone, but keeping a very brilliant smile on her face. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

With a shrug of her shoulders, Alegra chuckled. Yeah, Nyu Ri wouldn't go sneaking off behind the curtains. That seemed more like something Drystan would do. With that thought, she mentally decided to keep an eye on him. It'd be naive to think he wouldn't go that far. With a grin, she looked around the room. "I hardly did any decorating at all"She said in a very matter-of-fact way. It was true, too. Alegra had been busy running about like a house elf with his head chopped off. She didn't resent it at all, however. With the look of the room and a taste of one of the treats (she snuck a taste, is that really a crime?), it was all worth it tenfold. "Thanks! You look amazing yourself, Nyu Ri." She replied, taking a look at her dress. "Merlin's beard, what I would do to have a figure like you.' She added, fanning herself.
When she turned, she found Joonie. "YOU look brilliant!" She said loudly as turned to look at the treats. She picked out a red heart-shaped cupcake and held it out to him. "You better try these ones, I've been suspicious about them all day. If you die, we'll know not to eat them! Here." She didn't give him much of a choice. Alegra gets a little bossy with Joonie. She's not really sure why. She's not really the bossy type. She grinned at him and crossed her arms. "That's okay, I'm glad you're early. Everyone should start arriving soon."
Sure enough, Maeve arrived. "Thank you! Looks great, right? That's what I was just telling them."She said, and she paused. "Wow, you look gorgeous." She said, unable to hide the slight shock that would always be there. It was the same with Nyu Ri, but that had happened earlier in the day. Gorgeous girls, and Alegra could only ever be described as cute.
She grinned, and nodded. "Yes, I think Drystan-" she started, and as if on cue, the door was flung open. "Speak of the devil,"she said, and laughed. She watched as he summoned the piñata, and clapped her hands together in approval. "Great! I knew you wouldn't disappoint."She told him, and pulled him in a one-armed hug in thanks. She glanced over at Jae Syun and had a 'yikes' expression plastered on her face when she noticed how Drystan was looking at Joonie. A small, tiny, minuscule spark of jealousy spread through her, and for what, she wasn't sure. She's known Drystan and Maeve her whole life and she was just beginning to get to know Joonie. Well, whatever it was, she didn't give herself time to think about it and shook her head at Drystan with a smirk that mirrored his.
'Hey,"she greeted Aphrodite as she approached them. "I love your dress." She said, and smiled at her. She didn't know her very well, but definitely liked the girl. "Do you guys know Aphrodite?" She asked anyone and everyone. She looked around the room again and spotted Yuki, and waved at him happily.

A Valentines Day party; why it had been years since he last attended one so he wasn't quite sure about how to approach the situation. "Formal or informal..." Roy mused, sitting on his bed and studying himself in a small handheld mirror. With his free hand, he stroked his chin, then turned his hand to look at the flame alchemist symbol that was engraved on his glove. He sighed as he was instantly transported back to the last time he attended a party at valentines day, and then some. All the people he'd met, all the danger he'd been in, adventures, lost and found loves.... So much had happened here, as it had in the rest of his life too. He could even barely think about writing a book about it all. There was too much to include, and that was if he even remembered every small detail.
Well now it was time to start anew, and the biggest thing to worry about at this moment in time was his attire. "Oh this is fine, it's not as if I'm attending a knighting ceremony or something..." He chuckled as he climbed to his feet and dusted himself off. Dog hairs. Can't get much more annoying than that. Roy turned back to his bed and arched an eyebrow before bending down and running his hand quickly and playfully over velvety soft pelt, the fur of his black labrador Hayate. "Now behave. I don't want to return and see all my clothes shredded and everything knocked over again, alright, boy?" He stared down at it as if waiting for an answer, which came quickly, surprisingly enough. Black Hayate's bright blue eyes gleamed as he opened his mouth and ran a drool soaked tongue over his master's hand, before emitting a loud "affirmative!" sounding bark. Roy stood there for a moment, his hand just remaining there before he slowly pulled it back, raising it to eyelength and watching as a big glob of saliva dripped from his glove to the floor. "Great. Thanks." He dryly glared at it for a moment longer then shook his hand and bent down to wipe it on his bedsheets. Just what he needed. Fortunally he recalled that he had to go out somewhere so he didn't dirty his clothes anymore than he had to.
Finding that he was perfectly ready - long black trenchcoat, black jeans, black shirt, black alchemy gloves with symbols, black combat boots - he decided to head out. He didn't look very valentines day-y, more like pretty intimidating (his being demon infested changed his dress sense radically), he decided he looked good enough to see the least. It wasn't as if there were going to be many people to judge him anyway, and why should be care? With that, and a self contained smirk, Roy headed down to the room of requirement and entered. There certainly were enough people, he noted as he took a quick glance around. Some were people he recognized - perhaps not as friends but maybe as aquaintences - some were people he had never actually met before, and one was someone he was very familiar with.
Roy's black eyes flicked around the room again until once again they landed on the small asian boy. "Oh what the hell," he muttered, tensing himself up a bit before quickly aiming in that general direction. "Yuki!" he said, almost too loudly, but anything was better than simply ignoring the situation, or the boy, or even the party entirely. "You look well. Enjoying the party?!" Was he coming on a bit too strong? Well the last time they met they didn't really end things on a good note, perhaps he was trying to make up for that by being overly upbeat now. A drink would be nice though... he thought in dismay, feeling slightly uncomfortable but not letting it show. Hell, at any rate Yuki would probably mistake him from being drunk in the first place with the way he was acting now. Ahh... he was so glad Nova wasn't present at this very moment in time... he would have been sure to insult the alchemist heavily for the scene he was making now.

”Pfft.” Nyu Ri waved her hand to Alegra as a way to dismiss her compliment about her figure; she was rather modest. Honestly though she did like her figure and… well that was pretty much the only thing she liked about herself. And hey, in her opinion Alegra had a great figure too, pretty face and brains. There ought to be guys fighting over her. And as soon as she had thought about that a certain young male walked in whom apparently had decided to ignore her and just had his eyes set on Alegra. Oh well, that was completely fine with her. Actually she found this pleasing. The two just didn’t always get along, but she wouldn’t say that she hated him or anything. Nah, it was more like sibling arguing type that they had going on, although thinking about having Hyo Joon as a little brother made her cringe.
At the moment though she was content. Hyo Joon was busy talking with Alegra and it actually made her happy to see these two together. She had no idea if they were into each other, but hoped that they would at least try it out. Especially when she noticed Alegra offering him a heart shaped cupcake, she couldn’t help but to smirk, although it faded away quite fast after she noticed the look Hyo Joon gave to him. Poisoned? Really Hyo Joon? She would make sure to give him a lecture not to blurt out something like that (especially when giving that kind of look, because it made it look like SHE would be the one to poison the food, although the young male implied to something else totally).
Before she could snap at Hyo Joon and tell him to shut up she noticed from the corner of her eye that something had fallen and turned to look towards Jae Syun who was now under the curtain, looking like a kid who had dressed up as a ghost for Halloween. She was so concentrated on Jae Syun that she didn’t even notice that Maeve and Yuki had arrived to the party as well. She had set one rule for herself; never be rude which was because people often mistakenly thought she was impolite when she really wasn’t. She often just got lost in her thoughts and forgot about her manners. She knew this. Therefore she often told herself to act proper and to remember to be polite. Therefore it was surprising that she all of a sudden realized that more people had come in, so she turned to look at Maeve, smiling at her pleasantly and said, “Hey! Glad to see you here.” Before excusing herself and walking over to the young Asian male who apparently had lost his glasses. She noticed them on the floor so she picked them up and offered them to Jae Syun while smirking slightly and she couldn’t help but to think how handsome he looked without and with glasses. More like nerdy hot when wearing glasses. Not many people looked good with and without glasses, but he really did. “Here you go.” She looked at the curtain for three seconds before picking it up and raised an eyebrow. “Men these days… Can’t even decorate, huh?” A playful smirk appeared upon her lips as she continued, “Luckily women save the day!”
She didn’t really blame him about not being able to hang the curtain. It wasn’t that easy, she knew it. But hey, she had to tease him a bit, didn’t she? It was her way of hiding that she liked him. Usually people told little girls that a guy likes you when they tease you. Eh, she had never believed that, but rather thought it should be said the other way around. Well, at least in her case. Nyu Ri then picked up his wand as well, muttered a spell and helped him hang the curtain before offering the wand back to him. “Was this the last one? I can help out if there’s more.” She spoke, deciding to offer her help as she wanted to hang out with him a bit longer. Maybe there would be more? Ah, she doubted there was. It seemed that this had been the last one. “If not then we can just… enjoy the party!”
omg this was horrible ): haven't written in awhile again .___. ah, darn.

”YOU look brilliant!”
He heard Alegra say to which he smirked and simply said “Of course I do.” without a single hesitation or even thinking about being humble. After that he quietly took the heart shaped cupcake that Alegra offered to him, smiling only slightly so you could barely even see it “Fine! But you know, you should taste one too. It’s unfair if I’m the only one getting poisoned! And you know, it would probably look like a Romeo & Juliet kind of thing if we died, so we’d be famous and everyone would tell great stories about us.” At first it could have sounded somewhat romantic when he mentioned Romeo and Juliet, but in the end it was just to become famous. Well, secretly he did want to say something nice, but he had never been good at that unless he said it just to a friend or when he didn’t mean it at all. In South Korea and some parts of Asia he was famous already, but he hadn’t done anything to gain it or even wanted it; his father had done all the work. He wanted to be known by his own talent, not to be known as “that huge company’s owner’s son”.
It was then he heard a familiar voice nearby him and quickly turned to look towards Jae Syun, smiling widely and waved at him. He would soon go help him out. Soon. He hadn’t actually even noticed the curtain drop on Jae Syun, he was too focused on this current situation. …Pretty soon he would go. But that is when Maeve also walked in and he was surrounded by three ladies now. Yeah, maybe a bit later he would go help out his friend. Right now he enjoyed being right here. Politely he greeted Maeve as well, took a second look of the cupcake and finally took a bite of it, feeling glad that at least it didn’t taste poisoned. Not the slightest. It tasted very sweet and… well, good. Great actually.
Once Maeve mentioned that there would be a piñata too he blinked as he was surprised; he hadn’t heard about this before. Oh, a piñata sounded exciting! He was definitely in! Whoever was going to bring it… they better get it here soon! …Wait, maybe he shouldn’t had wished that. Why? Because the moment he had been thinking about that a certain man walked in, calling ‘good morning’ in Japanese and soon a piñata appeared in his hands. No. No no no. Why has he been invited? Why? WHY? Right away his party mood dropped down and he imagined a dark cloud appearing above his head which soon sparked some lightning and rain. Crap. As soon as the male looked his way he quickly looked to other direction, slightly flustered and wondering if he really should head over to Jae Syun now. Oh, but someone was already with him; Nyu Ri. He grinned a bit and decided he should let the two be for the moment and maybe later check on him. Ah, but what now? He didn’t want to stay here, this certain someone made him feel extremely uncomfortable. Lady Alegra? Pfft. Well sure, she’s a lady, but… well, it still bothered him! He wasn’t allowed to talk to her! No way. Now he felt incredibly grumpy. Would the day be totally spoiled now?

More people showed up to the party, none whom he had met before though, so he stayed where he was sipping the butterbeer and feeling quite content that no one had really noticed him. Not any stranger at least. He did respond to Alegra’s smile with a small wave and a smile of his own, but was glad that she was occupied by other people; she was a good friend, but he was still terrified about the whole blind date thing. Maybe that had been forgotten already? Oh, how he wished for it to be so. Or maybe they had forgotten to add him to the list which would be more than convenient for him. Needless to say he really wasn’t up for the task of hanging out with a stranger. Eh well, it could possibly be a good way to get to meet some new people though. Perhaps he should be more positive about it. When had he even become so negative? He used to be a lot more excited about such things and plan parties with Penelope, Scarlett, Anouk among other people. What had changed? He looked around, taking a look of every corner of the room and remembering all those fun times they had spend there, feeling like they had their whole lives ahead of them. Enjoying THE moment. Now he just kept worrying about what the future might bring. All of a sudden life had started to feel miserable when he wasn’t sure where he was heading to.
No.
He wasn’t the type to mope about such things, but rather felt happy when making plans for the future. This had to be somehow Yuji’s fault. It really was easy to always put the blame on his twin, even when he knew that the demon had nothing to do with it. God, he really needed to stop with all this. Stop being such an emo-kid. Maybe spending more time with friends would bring some sunshine in his life. Or was there perhaps a better option?
“Yuki!”
His thoughts were interrupted by a voice that caused an apple (well it sure felt like it) rise and get stuck in his throat, not to mention this weird sensation appearing in his stomach. Actually neither were bad type of feelings. Suddenly he felt extremely comfortable and relaxed, as if the sun had finally gotten rid of the clouds circling around him. “Hey Roy.” Yuki let his lips curl up to form a content smile before drinking the last drops of the butterbeer in his glass. “Thanks… So do you.” He nodded humbly, “I only arrived five minutes ago, but so far so good.” The Asian replied, trying his best not to show how terrified he was about the whole blind date thing. No one must notice, especially not Roy. “How are you?”
He asked politely as he kept his eyes on him and took a notice of his clothing which for some reason reminded him of Nova a bit yet it was still totally Roy’s style. How confusing was that? Well he liked it. It did make him feel a bit overdressed all of a sudden when he stood next to him and he started to wonder if he should have put something less formal on. Oh well, what’s done is done. He shouldn’t worry about it anymore. Suddenly a thought came to him; Roy wasn’t here for the papers, was he? Oh no. He hadn’t actually even asked for the new divorce papers yet. He either had been too busy or too tired or forgotten about it or had other excuse why he hadn’t sent an owl for his lawyer to ask for new ones. He had kept pushing it further and further away, even when Yuji had threatened to take over his body and ask them himself. He still hadn’t found his way to the owlery. Yuki had written a letter for his parents, but hadn’t send it either yet, because then Yuji for sure would remind him to send a message about the papers too. “There are so many here that I’m not familiar with. I only know a few of these people.” He talked, looking away from Roy and trying to see if someone else he knew would have arrived, but didn’t notice but strangers. “Are you taking part… of the blind date thing?” His thumb circled on the side of the empty glass he was holding as he was suddenly feeling thirsty again. He hoped he didn’t sound too prying or anything, that wasn’t his intention after all. Well maybe he was a bit curious about Roy’s answer, but he wouldn’t let it show either. we can live like Jack and Sally if you want, where you can always find me. we'll have Halloween on Christmas, and in the night, we'll wish this never ends we'll wish this never ends.
Leaning on the door frame to slip on her last shoe, Penelope sighed. As she shut her dorm door behind her, she continued her way to the party. Her shoes tapped silently along the floor as she walked, though her grace was hardly her own. Being a vampire, she had many advantages, such as being around long enough to not have to look in a mirror to fix her hair. Her fingers were evidently practiced as they wove through her long brown waves, placing them back into a loose side bun. Her look was simple. Her dress was strapless, above the knee, and a true red. It was a true struggle not to wear a black dress, which flattered her pale skin better than any other color, but she managed to pull off this red. She had forgotten she had it in her closet, and was delighted when she found it.
When she reached the floor of the Room of Requirement, Penelope cleared her throat. It was all a part of her facade to appear human, though there was no one out in the hall. It was a habit. She hoped Yuki was here by now. She was going to let him know she'd be arriving but she got caught up in other things. The girl also hoped that Calcifer would show. She hadn't spoken to him since the lake, but it doesn't hurt to hope, right?
With that thought, she exhaled, and opened the door, her eyes widening slightly at the appearance of the room. It was large, and very pink. And red. And white. She grinned at everyone and waved, spotting Yuki and Roy right away. She stared at the two for half a heartbeat, but moseyed on over there, hoping she wasn't interrupting anything. It appeared their talk was small, though, and she grinned at them. She hadn't heard anything about blind dates. "Hello, boys. You guys look great!" She said, pulling them both into a gentle one-armed hug.
As a result of her recent return to Beauxbatons, Penelope didn't have too many friends. As she smoothed out her dress, she took a moment to observe the rest of the room. "Enjoying the party?" she asked, eying the kid trapped under the curtains with slight amusement. She recognized both him and the lady who assisted him. Yes. Everyone in the room looked impeccable.
//I apologize for any typos I may have made, I am doing this on my phone >.> Also, it's October! And we're still doing this! XD that's quite an accomplishement XD *awkwardly high fives everyone* ^^

Squinting around at the floor around him, he sighed. His black rimmed glasses should have been easy to spot under the vast expanse of the pink cloth. Oi. Then he remembered that Nyu Ri, that gorgeous creature, was just some feet away and she could have seen the curtain fall over him. Nooo, this is not good at all, he thought. With that thought, he started trying to fix his hair, running one hand through the top, still squinting at the floor when a figure stood in front of him.
When she reached down for his glasses, he watched. It took him a few seconds longer than it should have to notice she was holding them out for him. He cleared his throat, grabbed them, brushing his fingers against hers, and grinned sheepishly. "Thank you," he said, pushing his glasses on his face and blinking at her a couple times. "You look, uhh.." He started to say when she teased him about not being able to decorate. "Hey." He chuckled and shook his head, "I did a couple of these already, didn't I?"
He laughed again, nodding his head, "lucky..." He said, awkwardly, his eyes darting down as he looked for his wand, and mumbled "to have a woman like you around, yes." Before he could pick up his wand, she had it in her hands already, and before he could protest, she finished his job and returned it to him. Jeez. Usually Jae was smoother than this, but when she was around he was clumsy and awkward. He sighed, more of a happy sigh than anything, and waved his wand, nodding his head at the curtain that had been uncovered, this one a true blood red. "Just one left," he said, one corner of the cloth lifting up into the air, leaving the other for her.
Somewhat recovering himself, Jae Syun looked over at her with a slight smirk on his face, trying to decide whether to compliment her or tease. [/blockquote]
